i lo lo

i used to comment on levi's little sayings when he was smaller, and i realize now, that even though i love all the little things tali says, i dont write about them! so, im going to remedy that today.
tali's newest and greatest thing ever is "i lo lo".
it is her way of saying "i love you".
she looks at me, gives me a smile, and says "i lo lo" and then opens her mouth as wide as she can to give me a giant wet kiss on my lips (that sometimes includes my nose and chin as well).
she says a lot of words- not as many as levi did at this age (i think he was in the 200's or more and saying lots of phrases by this point) but i know you cant compare children to each other. if we had to count (we actually have attempted it but keep coming up with new ones on an hourly basis), it would probably be around 100 words. some clear as day "eye, house, hi, byeee, tickle", others a little less clear, but definitely there.
she calls levi "leyee" and loves him more than anything in the world, even when he pushes her down, trips her, hits her, or takes her toys (a daily occurrance). she just gets right back up and follows him around trying her hardest to be just like him.
her favorite songs are "baa baa black sheep", "bim bom", and "wheels on the bus". i'll listen on the monitor some mornings to hear her singing "swish swish swish"- as in "the wipers on the bus go swish swish swish" complete with arm motions. and yesterday in the apple store, where i was buying myself a really nice gift (yay!!!!), she was singing loudly "baa baa black sheep, ha wah wah wah wool". people couldnt keep their eyes off her!
it is amazing to watch my children grow and develop and pick up new things everyday. new words. new interests. new accomplishments.
and just to do a little gloating over here, my big boy levi is learning how to write his own name! a little crooked sometimes, and slightly out of order occassionally, but there it is on paper. L E V I.
my babies are growing up before my eyes....
